We’re Ben and Max, the founders of SmarterShots. We’ve been working in the Wine and Spirit industry for more than 10 years now. Ben is a Designer and Max is a Project Manager. We met a while ago while working in the same company in glass bottle manufacturing.

Along the years we’ve been designing and manufacturing our clients’ bottles, and liaising with photographers to shoot nice bottle photographs for our clients but also for our internal needs. Slowly, we stopped using photographers as our clients were more and more using on their websites and on their marketing materials the 3D realistic bottle images we were making during the design phase… So we’ve started to understand how this service really helps Wineries and Distilleries and wanted to launch a cheaper and smarter alternative to photographers that would be very fast and simplify the whole process by making it 100% online without even needing to ship a physical bottle.

What can we do for you?

E-commerce stores and especially Wines and Spirits stores are always in need of some lifestyle images for their social media advertising or simply amazing promo pictures that can show products in the best light and angle. SmarterShots offers Custom Shots as well as allows you to use our bottle mock-up images right in your browser without needing to be an expert in photo editing via our Instant Shot Generator tool to help you create world-class images that prospects would feel as if they saw the bottles in reality.

We specialize in photorealistic images on white (or transparent) background, lifestyle pictures, creative images and videos (coming soon) and our bottle shots can be used on any supports (ecommerce websites, online marketing, print advertising, social media,…). If you are using a standard bottle, all you need to create your images is your label files, and if you are using a custom bottle shape, all we need is your label artwork files and your bottle drawing or photographs of your bottle.

How do we do it?

Well, thanks to our years of experience we have designed thousands of bottles so we already have a very large collection of standard bottle images that we mocked-up to be quickly reused and in case we don’t already have your bottle, we can simply model it in 3D from a drawing or existing photo.
